You are completely right: Dido spurned the wretched Aeneas.
But have you an idea about the reason why Dido and Sychaeus met themselves there, since Dido seems a suicide and Sychaeus is an unburied?
That's very important, and a few Professors can reply to this question.

Anyway, Dido in the Underworld is still alive (!), while Sychaeus is entrapped in the Venus' maze (the Mournful Fields).
